Listen as PhD student Mark Guevarra describes his work with Re/Generation to create an Advent calendar that invites a wide array of voices, privileging women, queer voices, and the voices of indigenous people and people of color, to reflect on the Scripture readings for the day. Mark describes how synodality, a calling forth of voices, can be a hopeful position during this time that creates community, encounter and dialogue, and light in the darkness.
