Dr. Jennifer Davidson is Dean, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and John Dillenberger Professor of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union. She received her PhD from the GTU in 2011. She is the author of “River of Life, Feast of Grace: Baptism, Communion, and Discipleship” (Valley Forge, PA: Judson Press, 2019) as well as numerous scholarly articles in journals and publications such as American Baptist Quarterly and Review & Expositor. Her research and teaching are focused around trauma-Informed pedagogy for the graduate theological classroom, free-church worship, communion & baptism in American Baptist contexts, and contemplative theology. She is a passionate educator who loves to empower others as they discover their own voices and come to deeper insights about themselves and their world.
